What is pitted glass?

Pitted glass is worn down glass that overlaps another area that is less worn out in comparison to its counterpart, this can be the outer area where the wiper does not touch, or the center area where you have the passenger blade overlap the drivers side wiper path. See image above.

How to fix pitted glass?

The glass needs to be polished with Cerium Oxide in the affected area so the surface matches.
