There are several reasons the pressure from your wiper arm is lacking;
- Rust/Corrosion
- Damage/Vandalism
- Age/Stretched Spring
If your wiper arm is lacking pressure due to age/rust/corrosion, you can try spray a lubricant such as WD40 on the spring and the pivot point, see image below.
You can check the wiper arm pressure using a special tool. One ounce per inch of blade length is optimal.
If the spring is stretched, the wiper arm will need to be replaced, please contact the vehicle manufacturer, alternatively you can bend the end of the wiper where it attaches to the wiper arm to apply more pressure
